Officially dedicated and opened on Sunday, 10 April 2011 , by His Grace Most Rev. Murphy Nicholas Xavier Pakiam, the 3rd Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur, it primarily caters to the pastoral needs of the Catholic community living in Subang Jaya, USJ and Putra Heights. The Church premises consists of 2 blocks - the Church proper and an administrative building (which houses the Parish Office, Parish Priest's Office, and 2 floors with rooms used by Sunday School and various Ministry activities. The Parish Priest's residence is at the top floor of the administrative building). ==At Present== Rev. Fr. Raymond Pereira is serving as the Parish Priest of the Church of St Thomas More. Fr Raymond began his new appointment on 1 June 2015, and was installed as Parish Priest on Monday, 22 June 2015 (the Feast of St Thomas More) by His Grace Most Rev Julian Leow, the 4th Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur. The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Parish Coordinating Council (PCC) and Parish Finance Committee (and various Parish-based Ministries) assist the Parish Priest in caring for the needs of the parish and parishioners.
